This has been a great few days! I got a new car, and I've been SUPER productive at work. AND stuff at work is actually working. When does that happen?!? 2012 is going to be freaking awesome!
We were abel to work our budget, and now I have a new car!! It's a Red 2011 Toyota Prius. You know you're reached adulthood when practicality wins out over wants. I wanted a big car, an SUV or a crossover. But the motivating idea behind getting a new car was to replace a gas guzzling SUV, so it didn't exactly make a ton of sense to replace one with another. Getting a big car would have just been gluttonous and wasteful, so the Prius it was. I have to say, I'm honestly thrilled with our pick. I love driving it, and I have already started making it my own :) She does still have to be named though. I'm pick about these things, and nothing had felt quite right yet. Happy to take suggestions :)
I know its a car that we're going to get years of use and miles out of.
Work has been really good. Thus far, the majority of the drama from 2011 has yet to rear its nasty head (knock on wood) and my experiments are actually showing promise. Let's just hope this isn't a new year fluke. I would like to graduate at some point in this life.
I've also discovered Pinterest. It's my new favorite waste of time. The crafts, the ideas, the food, the colors! OMG... someone stop me before I get buried in a pile of digital pins. I. Can't. Stop.
We also bought a Kinect System for our XBOX. Between Just Dance, Jillian Michaels work outs and the disk that came with the system, it's been a bundle of fun. I'm really enjoying it :)
It's been a great start to 2012! So blessed, so happy :)
